How do I access my Virtual Table(s)?
Please go to the My Tables page and click the Hopin Session link on the Table that you would like to attend.
What is Hopin?
Hopin is the virtual platform that will host On the Table 2020. It is similar to Zoom, but offers more of a community feel.
What do I do if I am having trouble?
There is more than one way to get help:
If you are on Hopin, you can go the Expo tab and click Tech Support. Once there type your issue in the chat and someone will be with you momentarily.
Go to the support page of this website by clicking here and submit a message that will go directly to the Tech Support email and someone will be with you momentarily.
I cannot find my session or the link is missing.
If you cannot find your session or your link is missing, first try going to the My Tables page and finding your link.

Who can Host a Table?
Any person or organization can host a table, and they will receive a Host Toolkit with everything they need, including a conversation guide and easy ideas for taking action after the event.

What is expected of a Host?
Host a conversation between November 16 through November 20, 2020. Most conversations will last approximately 40 to 90 minutes.
Invite 8 to 12 guests. Gather virtually using the Hopin.to platform.
View the online training that will be posted on our resources page towards the end of October.
Complete a post-event survey and ask your guests to do so as well. This is a crucial part of On the Table as the survey allows us to collect the creative ideas and actionable plans discussed during the event.
Should I register as a public or private table?
A private table means you will invite specific guests to your table and it will not be listed on our website. A public table is open to anyone to attend and will be listed on our website.
Is there training available?
All hosts are required to complete training. Training will take up to an hour to complete. Please review the Training Page.
What happens after the conversation?
Share your stories. We encourage all participants to share insights on social media using #OnTheTableMacon, submitting their stories, or emailing us at OnTheTable@cfcga.org.
Complete a short survey. Be part of the community report. Share your experiences, thoughts and ideas that arose from these conversations. We want to hear from every voice!
Look for the Community Report. The Community Foundation will share a community report highlighting the ideas, conversations, themes and outcomes that emerge from On the Table. This data will inform efforts to improve our community in the months ahead.
Apply for Conversation to Action Grant. On The Table is about identifying issues, advancing solutions and taking action ourselves, not waiting on someone else to fix it. We hope these conversations spur ideas for civic engagement and impact that individuals can do on their own. CFCG will offer a mini-grant program for ideas that require a little seed funding to get started.
